UNYCBUA MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION PROCEDURE
1. Applicant must complete the on-line membership form and it must be submitted for approval by the membership committee.

Membership tryouts will be held once a year each fall (Sept/Oct).
Tryout dates/times will be posted on the UNYCBUA website.
2. The applicant will be assigned a field exam site from the available tryout dates/locations. No-one will be allowed to attend a field tryout without a prior approved application from the membership committee. Based on the number of applicants it may be necessary to assign a tryout location that is not the closest to the applicant's home address. Applicants can expect to perform both plate and base work at the tryout.
3. The applicant will also be given a written exam (at the field exam) to be completed/submitted to the membership committee within 2 weeks of the field exam. The applicant must receive a passing grade of 80% on the exam. The written exam will be open book and the NCAA rule book is available for use on the UNYCBUA website.
4. A non-refundable fee of $25 must be submitted with the written exam as part of the application process. A check should be made payable to "UNYCBUA"
5. Notification of acceptance/rejection for membership will be given to the applicant within about two weeks of receipt of the written exam.
